    Hi there,
I installed your plugin in version 1.2.4 and I’m thrilled, its exactly what I was looking for. Just this little problem:
I add an event, which is displayed in all views (month, week, agenda), I can expand and collapse the view. But if I click on “Details”, I just get an almost blank page, with only the event title displayed, not the information and google maps.
I can view the details, if I go to the event using this link: ?ai1ec_event=ah-training&instance_id= without an instance_id-number. As soon as there is a number following (which seems to be the default and necessary for repeated events) ?ai1ec_event=ah-training&instance_id=3 I just get this blank page. (testlink https://test.mm13.de/?ai1ec_event=ah-training&instance_id=3)
Are there any hints for me?
    Greetings
    Mana

  • Is it gonna fix this issue?

This issue is a bit complex – on some installations it will be fixed on others I cannot guarantee the fix. Of course, I will look into all the installations that still don’t work after the update and see what is the issue there.

ok just updated to 1.4…problem remains for me

Hi yani, I got same problem as Jonatello, updated 1.4. Still has the problem.
    Thanks

I updated to 1.4 but still getting the Event detail page as blank page.

I set up The Events Calendar plugin even though I loved All in One Event Calendar much more…

Can I get access to an installation where the plugin is failing?
I will need ftp + admin access to wp dashboard.
Forward the information to yani at the-seed dot ca
Make sure to mention this forum topic.
    Thank you all in advance!

I’m working on local with MAMP…I could move all install on Dropbox if you want

Is there anyone who has already the site online?

    @jumust
    Let’s start from there:
    PHP version
    Apache version
    MySQL version
    ?

Yani, I sent you access mine as well (its online) if that helps.

    Apache/2.2.21 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.21 OpenSSL/0.9.8r DAV/2 PHP/5.3.6
    Mysql 5.5.9

Thank you all for the fast replies.
I will try to identify the problem on Jonatello’s website.

Jonatelio’s problem was related to a custom theme (not the default WP theme).

I’ll need access to another WP install to debug. Send it to yani at the-seed dot ca
@jumust your configuration seems fine to me but unless it is somewhere live there is no way to debug it :/

Good news. I was able to find another problem. It is LIKELY that this is what has been causing most of you troubles – the other cause would be the theme (if it is a custom one).
    How to fix
    Exchange the contents of app/model/class-ai1ec-event.php
    with this: https://pastebin.com/jUqL8LXS

Let me know if you are still having troubles after applying this fix (the fix will be included in the next version).

    Yani,

Thank you for all your hard work, but this fix didn’t solve the problem for me. Perhaps it is the theme, which is Molitor’s Politico for me; but still, it’s a HUGE disappointment.

I was just about to go on with my long list of other calendars when I saw your email. I shall continue that list. Of course, if it is the theme, then I suppose I’ll have the same problem. I’ll post on the Politico forum to see if they’ve heard about problems with calendars, but I haven’t seen other posts about them so far.

Again, thank you for all your work. I’d be happy to give you access to my site, but I’m about to switch to other calendars, sooooooo . . .

    Susan

    Susan,
One way to determine if it is the theme or not is to switch to the default WP theme (Twenty Eleven 1.3) and see if the problem exists.
