It seams that when ever i make a new event its coming up on my front page as a post. I can’t seem to figure out why its doing this. I didn’t edit anything inside the plugin folder. I did edit the css to add .ai1ec_event so that background and boarder would show up on the single views but I already tried disabling that. It shows “Posted In: Ai1ec_event” but that is not an actual category.

Anyone got any ideas on what is doing this.

    Hi chaos_cb7,

In order to pinpoint why this is, please…
    1. tell me which version of ai1ec and WP you are using
    2. try (temporarily) switching themes to WP theme Twenty Eleven. If this resolves the issue, then it is likely a theme conflict
    3. try (temporarily) de-activating all other plugins. If this resolves the issue, then it is likely a plugin conflict.
    4. try manually reinstalling the plugin: https://help.time.ly/customer/portal/articles/534931-how-do-i-manually-upgrade-

It was a theme issue. I was using an older version of Easel. It had something to do with the index or functions php files because i just swapped those out with the newer version and it corrected it.

The issue with it not displaying css info correctly was still an issue in 2 different themes I tried though. Adding .ai1ec_event solved the issue but not everyone may know how to do that.
