    Hi there

I’ve tried searching to see if anyone else is having the same issue with this plugin but since activating it I cannot navigate within the dashboard or update any part of the site without getting the following message:

The Google Maps API server rejected your request. The sensor parameter in the specified request must be set to either ‘true’ or ‘false’

I have tried all the settings but nothing seems to work? Has anybody else had this issue and can the plugin authors have a look at this and let me know how this can be resolved?

Many thanks in advance (great plugin)

  • Hi,

Is this issue still occurring? As well, what version of WordPress and the Calendar are you using?

    Hi there

Yes, still occurring. WP version 3.3.1

    Calendar version: 1.5

Thanks – can you please cut and paste the exact error you are getting? If you can’t do that, please email [email protected] with your blog address and login information and we’ll take a look.

    Hi again,

    the exact error is:

‘The Google Maps API server rejected your request. The sensor parameter in the specified request must be set to either ‘true’ or ‘false” and occurs everytime I enter the dashboard and navigate within it.

I will email the other details separately

    Hi Marco,

We are currently going all out to get our next release out the door. I’ve created a ticket to have this looked at and will let you know about any resolution.

    Cheers,
    Mark

Hey buddy, did you solve this problem? i’m getting this too every click i make in the Admin panel ??

Fixed! i managed to get around this by deleting the call for google map API (if i’m not misstaking this will disable your maps in the calendar) just untill they fix it in the next update.

got to /all-in-one-event-calendar/app/controller and edit the file ‘class-ai1ec-events-controller.php’

Search for // Include Google Maps API.

Delete from here to the next // request (// Include autocomplete_geomod plugin)

    That eliminated the error.
