[Plugin All in one event calendar] i can't install directly from filesystem

Hi to all,

I’m Gabriele. I’m trying to install on my local machine all in one event calendar 1.8.2 on my wordpress 3.4 site.
I copy the entire folder in plugins, activate it anche then the sistem ask me ftp credential!!! Why? Besides all the apperence menu go off and don’t works and i have to remove the folder from plugin.

Is there a solution?
I’m trying some event plugin to choose which is the best suitable from my site. Did have some ideas?
