    Happy new year!

    1. Login to WP Dashboard(wp-admin).
    2. Go to Events -> Settings
    3. Put the location of your ics feed in iCalendar/.ics Feed URL
    4. Click +Add new subscription
    5. In a few seconds, the ics feed will show below the form.
    6. Click update button and wait for the spinning circle to hide.
    7. You will see the number of imported events.

    Let me know if you are having issues.

    Yes I can provide this ?? (I can even provide my WP site access in private)
    https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/contact%40navette-aeroport-lastminute.com/public/basic.ics

    I copy too the ICS file to this URL :
    https://www.navette-aeroport-lastminute.com/test.ics

    And I have question, if the import work, Can I add in the event the category, tags, price and all information like I will do manualy ?

    Regards

    Ludo

    @ldopierala
    I see what’s wrong – the feed is listing only your free/busy time, not actual events.
    Do you have any control over the feed or if it was imported from somewhere, could you provide that url instead?

    If the import works, you can add categories, tags, and price as well as anything else that you have access to on add new event page.

    Hi,

    I’m having similar problem, except that on step 7 I see “No events found” when there are 2 set for today and tomorrow. Calendar is set as public with ability to view details of events.

    Here is the link:
    https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/1100110000000%40zhp.net.pl/public/basic.ics

    …and HTML view of the same calendar:
    https://www.google.com/calendar/hosted/zhp.net.pl/embed?src=1100110000000%40zhp.net.pl&ctz=Europe/Warsaw

    Could You please help me?

    @czytacz
    Just tried the same feed on my localhost and it successfully imported 7 events.
    Can you paste the output of phpinfo to wordpress.pastebin.com and let me see it?

    Unfortunately phpinfo() is disabled by my provider. Is there any other way I can give You input You need?

    @czytacz
    Can you upload a php file and execute it on the server?
    eg: upload test.php to domain.com and then run domain.com/test.php in your browser?

    @yani.iliev
    sure.

    while waiting for info on what to put into the php file (simple phpinfo() doesn’t give any output), I’ve tried to use any other plugin that would import my .ics file.

    It looks like it works, although on first run it had to create temporary cachce folder – php version on my server is < 5.3

    Is that the case?

    Wersja Apache 2.2.21
    Wersja PHP 5.2.17
    MySQL version 5.1.56-log

    Hmm… the problem seems to be non-existent anymore. Nevertheless, it’s strange, cause i didn’t do anything special.

    The only thing I noticed is that when I installed other plugin (amr events calendar or lists with ical files) to use ics, it created a cache folder. PHP lower than 5.3 doesnt support cache function, so plugin needed that folder.

    On the other hand I don’t see that AIOEC would use it, how would it know that the folder exists?

    Nevertheless, until I drop on the problem again, case can be considered as closed. Thanks for Your time.

    @czytacz
    Thank you for getting back!
    I am glad you solved your issue.
    Good luck!

    I am trying to import the ics from google calendars but it doesn’t seem to update. the ics code is https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/161hkrdo0qrhfc6sj4s613gib4%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics and the website is https://emerycountychamber.org/events-calendar/. There is only one thing on Jan 11, but it is not showing up. I am not sure what else to try :/

    @bradycreative
    When importing your feed on my localhost install it worked and I can see 1 event(“ECBC Meeting”) being imported.

    Try using this url: https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/161hkrdo0qrhfc6sj4s613gib4%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

    Note that https is changed to http. Maybe your server php doesn’t support https?
