• v1.4 of plug-in has 3 issues:

    • once you create a recurring event you can’t edit it
    • when you create a recurring event with a defined start date and end date, the event replicates exponentially each day in an “out of control” fashion
    • when you enter a basic event with a start date and end date that is not the same day, the AI1EC publishes it to end 1 day later than what you enter. Yet if you back that off a day to compensate, the detailed date description on the event post is incorrect.

I created 3 bug tickets on the developer’s plug-in forum website. Hopefully these issues will get addressed in a timely fashion on order to make this plug-in a viable solution to use on your web page.

  • once you create a recurring event you can’t edit it

    – What prevents the editing of a recurring event?

when you create a recurring event with a defined start date and end date, the event replicates exponentially each day in an “out of control” fashion

    – What is the recurring rule that you are using that creates such events?

when you enter a basic event with a start date and end date that is not the same day, the AI1EC publishes it to end 1 day later than what you enter. Yet if you back that off a day to compensate, the detailed date description on the event post is incorrect.

    – Have you configured your timezone correctly?

    1. Editing: I am prevented from editing more so in that when I click a recurring event and the pop-up frame appears it is not populated with my event. See screen shot https://bit.ly/yAa1dV
    2. Out-of-control Recurrence: I have a certain event running every weekday from June 2nd to August 10th (see https://bit.ly/xOe5nV). It appears on my weekly calendar in an exponentially replicated fashion (see https://bit.ly/AcS4xS)

I’ll come back to post examples the 3rd issue shortly.

1 – it works more like a wizard/process, allowing you to select recurrence rule, not to modify an existing one. We are likely going to rework the UI in next versions.
2 – Oh, I think your event is not defined well.
    The event says the following:
I start on June 2nd and end on August 10th. Repeat me Everyday until July 5th.
So you will have 1 event on the first date, 2 events on the second date and so on.

The event needs to look like:
    All-day: yes
    Start date: June 2nd
    End date: June 2nd
Repeat: Weekly on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri until July 5, 2012
