That depends on what theme you are using. If it’s free maybe someone here can help you out.

Thanks for the reply. I am using suffusion. Just looking to have a single event page with no sidebars. It is showing with left and right sidebars now.
    Thanks

As Suffusion is a rather complex theme framework, try asking on the theme’s dedicated forum: https://www.aquoid.com/forum

    Thanks.
Looking for help here also. Any thoughts?

I tried to override single.php for events, but Suffusion doesn’t pick up the new template file. As @esmi said, Suffusion is quite complex and extremely configurable. Maybe you could ask the Suffusion developers how to override single.php.

What about other issues related to the sidebar not showing at all? Im using the framework: https://kaptinlin.com/themes/striking/ and a custom post is being generated by the plug-in to view the event details. I’m guessing I need to register a custom sidebar to the custom post type being created by the plug-in, but not sure. The WP framework listed above supports unlimited sidebars, but it just seems like the relationship between the sidebar and the post created by the plug-in is missing. Any thoughts?

I am using zee Corporate theme, with the plug-in All-in-one-Event-Calendar. It works fine, but when I click on the event detail, the page comes up with a sidebar on the page. There is no option to change the template for the event detail page, so how do I get rid of the sidebar?
    Thank you!

    Hi ethan2 and co.

The ai1ec does not determine whether or not there is a sidebar. This is determined by the WP theme. Therefore, to create/remove a sidebar, the changes must be made to the WP theme, not the ai1ec.

Thanks josjo and esmi for your help troubleshooting this.
