[Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar] Slowed down my site!

I have the Standard Theme and I was using this plugin for obvious reasons. After installing, clicking ANY link in the back office took forever to load! I mean 45-60seconds just to click to a different page, add a post, correct a post, and uploading media was horrendous. The plugin was wonderfully put together, but my webmaster had to remove it.
