After having V1.7 of this plug-in wreck my widget control panel
    I deleted it(huge nightmare-it completely destroyed WP)and installed V1.83
re-setup all my feeds(6000 or so entries)
and have manually added some entries as well
    and now no Calendar appears
no matter which view I choose
this is all I see(there is a small icon to the left of agenda or week
    Agenda
    .
    or
    Week
    .

Timely is going to push me over the deep end

Anyone have any ideas on what to try?

    Hi clowmilk,

Sorry to hear that the update has been problematic at your end. In order to pinpoint why you are now not able to view the calendar, please can you…

    1. try (temporarily) switching WordPress themes to Twenty Eleven to see if this resolves the issue (so we know if it is a theme conflict or not)

    2. try (temporarily) de-activating all other plugins to see if this resolves the issue (so we know if it is a plugin conflict or not)

    3. if none of the above work, you may have to manually reinstall the plugin again: https://help.time.ly/customer/portal/articles/534931-how-do-i-manually-upgrade- Ordinarily, this should not delete your feeds or events, however it is always good practice to back up this info.

    4. if even this does not resolve the issue, please email us your WP admin and FTP access and we will take a closer look: [email protected]

    1. Already using 2011 theme
    2. have tried that, did not help
    3. How do you back up this info?
    4. Done

    Thanks

    Hi clowmilk,

Thank you for trying 1,2, and 4. That leaves us with 3! When MANUALLY reinstalling (deleting the ai1ec folders from the back end, NOT via WordPress dashboard), your events will not be deleted. However, if you would like to be extra ‘safe’, you can back up your database first, which is where the events are stored.

Please let me know if manually reinstalling does (or does not) resolve this issue.

    Richard
I had already sent that info

    For now
I’ve downgraded to 1.7 and it appears to be working as it should
Think I’ll just wait for V2 before attempting upgrade

Thank you for sending your info. My colleague is answering your ticket. Glad to hear that at least you have found an interim solution with 1.7.

I am going to mark this case as resolved as it has been inactive for a month.
