    The new weekly view is useful but I would make a few comments:

    – I think it looks very untidy with the times listed on the first day obscuring events rather than in their own column.

    – It would be nice to only show the time range that has events (or make the range settable); The school website I would like to use it on starts at 9:00am but the top half of the view lists empty times from 6:00am in the morning.

    – It would be nice to have Month/Week/Agenda checkboxes in settings to select which buttons should be shown.

    – It would be nice to be able to select whether to show weekends or not in weekly view.

    I have a bold horizontal line across the middle of every week (11:15am) but I have no idea what it is. Selecting previous week sometimes leaves loading icon running indefinitely.

    I hope that this doesn’t sound ungrateful for your efforts.

  • I’ve just upgraded to v1.2, and the Widget is now showing the events from Trash. If you click on a “trash” event you get the 404 error.

    I’ve now permanently deleted the Trash and the events have disappeared.

    Why is the weekly view scrolled to the morning where I do not have any event?

    The design suggestions are very good. It is always good to hear what people think. We will try to improve it a bit but our main concern right now is adding new features, like day view, exclusion UI, improving recurrence UI, and adding our own RSVP implementation. As soon as we are done with new features we will perhaps focus on improving the usability of the code base. Let’s not forget that there are some optimization tasks that also need to be performed at some point. So all in all, we are very happy to see suggestions and we do log all the suggestions. The only thing is that we are not advancing as fast as the demand is but if you have patience and support us we will not let you down.

    The day starts at 12:00am and ends at 11:59pm
    Sounds like a good idea to scroll down to the first line where there is an event available.

    I, too, would like to be able to hide the weekends as they take up real estate and I don’t need them. It means that my calendar doesn’t ‘fit’ well on the screen and the titles are truncated.

    Hope this can be added in future.
