[Plugin: Amazon S3 Uploads] Do Not Delete Files On Server (but still upload to and host from s3)

I’d like to use the plugin as intended, but NOT delete the files from my local server. I have a couple of reasons for this.

1.) has anyone done this, and/or can you see any issues (ie: will it continue to upload the same files over and over if they remain on the server?).

2.) can anyone assist me in tweaking this plugin to not delete the files. I’d be glad to test this and report back if someone can help.
