[Plugin: Ambrosite Unlink Parent Categories] Not removing title attributes from category plugins

    Hi there, this plugin’s Remove Link Titles was exactly what I was looking for. I’m using full html in my category descriptions along with the Collapsing Categories plugin. On mouseover the Category links are showing the raw html of the category descriptions – a mess.

    I installed this plugin and it eliminates the hover text from the standard WordPress categories widget but not the Collapsing Categories plugin. Any tips?

    BTW I tried the Remove Title Attributes plugin also and it did not remove the title attributes from even the standard WP categories widget. It hasn’t been updated for a couple years.

    I found a snippet of code that will do that with javascript. All sorted.

    I’m glad you found a solution to your problem, but to answer your original question: my plugin is only compatible with the wp_list_categories function that is part of the WordPress core. The Collapsing Categories plugin uses a non-standard custom function to generate the category list. I do my best to make my plugins 100% compatible with the WordPress core, but unfortunately I cannot account for every non-standard function that might be in one of the many thousands of plugins out there.
