[Plugin: amr events calendar or list with ical files (aka amr-ical-events-list)] New list type editi

  • When I updated to this new version, in the back of my mind I expected that my CSS changes would be lost. That’s ok, my bad. I am new to WordPress and I should have known better.

    However, and I’m trying to be polite here, the new list type editing you’ve put in is the least user friendly thing I’ve ever seen added to anything, ever. Why would you possibly think that users would want to first copy their cryptic settings, decode them, wade through the undocumented settings, then re-encode them? It’s just mind boggling.

    So mind-blowing that it is not true :).

    Click on the name of the list type to configure it. Or click on the numbers at top left

    New screen is an overview mgt screen where people can copy listtypes between websites – requested feature by several folks

    I will have to add a ‘ configure ‘ word to each name to make it more obvious .

    Hi again – forgot to add that there has been provision for a while now for a custom css file to be used.
    See the “listing events” settings there should be a dropdown to say which file to use. Files that are in a css folder in your uploads directory should also appear and be selectable.

    You can safely edit those files without them being overwritten by wordpress plugin upgrades.
