    amr ical events, the piece of junk, won’t delete when you try to delete it through the WP administrative interface. You get this messgae:

    Warning: require_once(amr-ical-uninstall.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/[…]/wp-content/plugins/amr-ical-events-list/uninstall.php on line 7

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘amr-ical-uninstall.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/[…]/wp-content/plugins/amr-ical-events-list/uninstall.php on line 7

    Fail!

    Please be more polite when using years of other people’s work for free.
    It is people like you that are a major disincentive to share work for free.

    Most plugins do not even offer a clean up facility but leave stuff cluttering up your system.

    This error should be fixed in latest release. Note you can still delete manually via ftp or control panel

    So, because you give this plugin away for free I have no right to be annoyed when it doesn’t delete through the WP admin interface.

    There are loads of great plugins that people in the WP community produce and maintain for free, and when I want to delete those plugins they can be seamlessly removed through the WP admin interface. Why can’t your free plugin do the same.

    Lack of remuneration is no reason for producing stuff that doesn’t work. Nevertheless, I apologise.

    Oh you can be annoyed – we all get annoyed. Bugs happen unfortunately much as we try avoid them and sometimes at the worst times.

    Just be polite when reporting them.
