Plugin and theme editor missing

    I no longer see my plugin and theme editor after changes to WP security plugin…problem is that i can seem to figure which changes affected this and i dont want to disable the WP security plugin all together cuz someone keeps trying to hack my website…thanks to your software all attempts thus far have been thwarted.

    pls help in restoring the editor tabs

    i checked the wp-config.php file for any DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT entry but didnt see any.. thanks in advance

  • Hi,

    Go to “Filesystem Security” > “PHP File Editing” and turn off the “Disable Ability To Edit PHP Files” feature. If it doesn’t help, probably some other plugin you have installed is causing your trouble.

    thanks for the reply…i just checked and that option is not enabled…

    i checked all the plugins and ur right, i think its the Adminize plugin….any clue on how to edited rights to it as i cant see it in dashboard

    I’m sorry, but I don’t know Adminize. Maybe try to contact its author?

    Anyway, I’m marking the thread as resolved.

    many thanks…FTP’d and renamed Adminize plugin folder…i can see editor now…
