Plugin and Theme Updates VS. Plugin and Theme Automatic Updates

    I am confused by the two sections on dashboard page. What is the difference between turning on either updates or Automatic Updates???

    I just want my plugins to update, but this dashboard page is confusing. How Can I have a plugin in the “Plugin and Theme Updates” section checked green and that same plugin in the “Plugin and Theme Automatic Updates” section” checked red?

    OR how can I have a plugin in the “Plugin and Theme Automatic Updates” section checked green and that same plugin in the “Plugin and Theme Updates” section” checked red?

    Not sure why there are two sections on the dashboard page… Please help clarify.
