    I’m looking for a plugin for a new site that can replace the functions of K2 for Joomla or clearly similar.. when I read that it is possible to migrate an already created site to Joomla K2 on WP, what is it based on?

    To import the K2 items?from Joomla to WordPress, you need:
    – FG Joomla to WordPress Premium?https://www.fredericgilles.net/fg-joomla-to-wordpress/
    – and the K2 add-on?https://www.fredericgilles.net/fg-joomla-to-wordpress/k2/

    but I was asking If I wanted to use a module for a new WP site like K2 or similar, clearly, what should I use?

    It depends on the features you want.
    WordPress manages natively the articles, the multiple categories, the featured images, the images galleries. You don’t need any plugin for that.

    To manage the custom fields, you need ACF or Toolset Types.

    I would like to manage, in addition to custom fields, a PDF viewer with iframe with PDFs uploaded to ftp

    With the K2 add-on, the PDF files are imported as attachments in the WordPress media library and as links inside the posts.

    Viewing the PDF in an Iframe PDF viewer is not supported.
