    tostaki1!
I need to see your phpinfo page.

I’m trying to make a tag called Featured substicky, but it keeps resetting to default. This worked before I updated to 3.1. Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

Hello Max, Plugin installed correctly. Can make changes in the order the posts are shown in de back-en. I Save and Refresh”, the order is indeed changed in the backend. Now when I go to the site nothing is changed.
I do not get it…. Please advice.
    Example :
    https://leekerweide.testmij.nu/category/zorgaanbod/woonbegeleiding/
should have the order set to :
    Begeleiding naar zelfstandig wonen
    Woonbegeleiding
    Locaties

instead it is displayed as :
    Woonbegeleiding
    Locaties
    Begeleiding naar zelfstandig wonen

    Specs : WP v : 3.1.1.
    and plugin v : 0.3.1

    Dude01,
You need to download and install a patched version of AStickyPostOrderER/
You can take it from here: https://www.q2w3.ru/2011/02/25/3234/

    tostaki1,
I saw your phpinfo, but… I can’t understand why you are getting this error… If you run phpinfo inside wordpress (try this plugin), will you get the same memory limit value?

is there an update planned for wp 3.2.1? The patch worked great for me when I updated to wp 3.1 but now with wp 3.2.1 it no longer appears to work.

    Thanks in advance,

    -john

Sorry for the noise. Works fine in wp 3.2.1

    Hi everyone!
Now I am working on a new version of Asctickypostorderer.
And I want to ask you a few questions about how you use this plugin.

The main question – are you using all this meta-stickiness stuff? I mean Super_Sticky option, Sub-sticky and Droppy.
Or you are using mainly Default setting just to change natural order of post in categories and on a frontpage (as I did)?

    Why I am asking?
I have an idea to not use these meta-options in a new version. Because they heavily impacting plugin performance.
Also I don’t like them because if you have several Super-sticky categories, plus several Sub-sticky – the resulted order will became very complicated….

I’m really glad to hear that there is activity on this plugin! Thank you!

To answer your question, I do not use the meta-stickiness stuff. I just change the natural order of posts in categories.

    -John

    Thanks for your work Max.

My answer is the same as whyameye

I haven’t used product but my goal is to 1-2 sticky posts at top of each category and then let the remaining appear in their natural order

    Hi guys,

Can I just check…if I switch from AStickyPostOrderER to Q2W2 Post Order, will the new plugin inherit the settings from the old one?

    Thanks
