  • I have firefox 3.0.4, wordpress 2.6.5 and audio player 2.0 beta6.

    for some reason, when I try to play this song, it sounds really messed up.

    heres the link to the song for analyzing. I don’t know why its like that but maybe someone can figure it out.

    [audio src="https://www.mediafire.com/file/bwy4nxdwzvk/Clannad_After_Story_-_Toki_wo_Kizamu_Uta_TV_Size.mp3" /]

    I’m using audio player 2.0 beta 6 standalone, plays fine in IE and FF, however I’m getting a Javascript error in IE, has anybody noticed this?

    Here is my javascript setup.

    <script type="text/javascript">
    		//For option details visit - https://wpaudioplayer.com/standalone
                AudioPlayer.setup("../../audio-player/player.swf", {
                    width: 200,
    				autostart: "yes",
           			transparentpagebg: "yes",
    				bg: "CCE8FD",
    				leftbg: "004EA0",
    				lefticon: "EDF7FF",
    				rightbg: "EDF7FF",
    				righticon: "004EA0",
    				volslider: "C99030",
    				rightbghover: "004EA0",
    				righticonhover: "EDF7FF",
    				tracker:"C99030",
    				track: "CCE8FD",
    				noinfo: "yes",
    				remaining: "yes"
                });

            </script>

    Error reports reads:

    Line: 20
    Char: 1
    Error: Object expected
    Code: 0

    Line 20 of my html doc is “rightbghover: “004EA0″,” Anybody have any ideas?

    This is a great tool!

    I am hoping a more experienced user/developer of this tool can tell me if this is possible with this player:

    I want to be able to control which audio file the control will play via javascript. For example, on my site, based upon a user action (which will be captured via Javascript) I’d like to play one of the small audio files that I’ll load into this control.

    If this is not possible, does anyone recommend another player that might support this?

    Martin,

    It would be terrific if the height and width of the player could be modified. While I love the player’s functionality, it could be slimmed down a bit. Perhaps in the next version you could provide both standard height and slimmer versions?

    Thanks for a great tool.

    okay,

    I am lost.. I want to use audio player to auto play files on each of my pages is there away to get audio player to do this.. I have not found it in the settings.. check out my page with the audio on the bottom at https://geeks4god.web44.net/events/

    Hi Martin,

    Great plug-in!

    Do you know why the second mp3 on this blog is not showing up with your player to play it?

    Thanks!

    Carter

    Are there any plans to one day get this working with Google Analytics? I’d love to be able to track how many listens my music gets.

    tks for the plug.
    But when I click on player I get the following error:

    The requested URL /wordpress/<p class= was not found on this server.

    player: 2.0 beta
    Browser – Firefox 3.0.4

    Sorted.
    Future note: pay attention.

    All good.

    The autostart option doesn’t work with Firefox 3, if the player is outside of the visible area.

    When I put the player at the bottom of a long page with autostart enabled, the music only starts to play, when I scroll down and the player comes visible.

    With IE7 browser it starts immediately, when the page is loaded.

    Is this a bug with Firefox, the Adobe Flash-plugin or the Audioplayer plugin?

    Tested with Flash version 9 and 10.

    Hey folks, I’m having trouble getting the player to show up on my site.

    I have WordPress 2.7 and trying to use Audio Player 1.2.3. I have not edited the plugin files at all, and my wordpress is lightly modified. I’ve followed the instructions and pretty sure I’m using proper syntax to display the player on the page.

    Could someone please let me know where I’ve gone wrong?

    Never mind, I gave up and went with different one that didn’t look as good but worked great.

    I have an idea to modify my WP template so it will insert audio player for all attached to post mp3 files. So you don’t have to write “[audio:” in post, just attach the mp3 file to the post.

    I can get attached mp3 url in template with wp_get_attachment_url($id);
    But how can I insert audio player(not standalone if possible) thru the tamplate?
    Thanks!

    Hello,

    one request: would it be possible to make a player that can jump to a position in the song that has not been downloaded yet, and start downloading and playing from there?

    Best, ALEXander.

    I have download and installed the beta version 2 and all seems fine apart from the in the uploads window the Audio Player button that sets the link url to the audio code that you then insert onto the page is not working. Tried on IE7, FF3.0.5 and Safari.

    Any ideas?
