    Hi,

Your widget has worked perfectly on my blog (chubbyhubby.net) until recently. I can’t tell if it is the upgrade to 3.4.2 or some other conflict but I just noticed that the widget has stopped working. I usually have it on my sidebar of the pages, just above the ad. Now, I cannot get it to appear. I have tried deleting and re-installing. I am at a loss as to what to do.

There is nothing to worry really, due to the rewrite of the Plugin to the new WordPress API the old widget settings are no longer used. You simply have to drag-and-drop the Widget to your Sidebar again and reconfigure it and it will work again (with the new features).

Figured it out. WP Supercache has a conflict with the Plugin. I had to deactivate Supercache, re-install Author Spotlight and then re-activate Supercache. Strange!

Aah! the Cache plugin must be loading your old pages from the cache. Reinstalling the SuperCache probably refreshed the cache. I haven’t used this Cache plugin but I think instead of re-installing you could used the option to refresh the cache if the plugin provides such an option.

Dave, I don’t think its an issue with the Author Spotlight plugin, perhaps you posted in the wrong thread. It seems to be an issue with your WordPress installation and you would get help from others if you post in general thread and provide link to your site.
