• I’ve seen a couple of people with similar issues which have not been resolved, so Please; if you know the answer, let me know! Thanks!

I cannot figure out how the directory is supposed to be set in the plugin setup. It’s not following any logic I have tried, and as a result, the plugin isn’t working for me.

The screenshots for the plugin seem to be completely misleading in this regard as well.

I would really appreciate any help with this.

  • nyodulf,

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve added some more text to the FAQ to clarify the image naming format. I will also update the screenshots with the newer versions so that it is clear.

If you are still having trouble let me know what the issue is in detail so that I can look into it.

    Thanks,

Hi, i have solved the confusion by accident, i created fatal error code and my wp page displayed error path that made me realized how to enter the right path for this plugin:

    /home/mydomain/public_html/mydomain.com/wp-content/images/

I just found out that the path for the first 2 fields must be full path start from home/ followed by root name (i used hostgator) > public_html and so on as see above or as your own folder creation. The developer of this plugin need to explain this in FAQ, this is not simple to most regular wp users.

Thanks for the great plugin BTW.

oh, sorry. i forgot to say that the first /home/mydomain mydomain is the user for my host account and second mydomain is the actual domain for this wp. for example /home/hostuseraccount/public_html/wpblog.com/wp-content/myimage

Dikoro, seriously, you don’t have idea how your post help me after a day long i tried to figure out how to fill those image directory form. Seriously, karunanidhi, you need to put that in you FAQ. Happy auto-posting image!

Actually, I think it would be a lot better if the folder setup was relative to the site domain – i.e., leave out the whole ‘/home/hostuseraccount/public_html/’ section. Is there some reason that has to be included?

Wouldn’t it make even more sense to say that the images have to be stored somewhere under the wp_content folder and streamline the whole folder path to something people will instantly know what to do with?
