Plugin Auto Upgrade Happens, But Nag Stills Says to Update

  • I have upgraded to 2.8.4 and when I go to automatically upgrade a plugin, it shows that it is going through the process and successfully upgrades and reactivates the plugin.

    However, upon going back to the Plugin page the nag to upgrade the plugin is still there, and the actual plugin file shows the old version. It’s like the automatic upgrade process just takes away the old plugin and replaces it with the same version.

    Have tested on multiple plugins that all need upgrading and it happens on each.

    Thoughts?
