[Plugin: AutoChimp] Support for User Meta Plugin

    I was wondering if you plan on supporting the User Meta plugin:

    I see you already support CIMY but User Meta is so much more robust, is WAY easier to use and powerful and plays much better in the WordPress environment. It actually uses the built in WordPress user meta API so no new tables are created or other non-standard stuff CIMY creates.

    I actually just started using User Meta Pro and it displays my existing data I had created manually with code in my theme’s functions.php. If I use the same field name, User Meta sees the existing data. Since this site has nearly 4000 users and growing and over a dozen meta fields, USer Meta Pro is a God send for me… except that AutoChimp doesn’t support it.

    Thanks for the info, I’ll check this plugin out. Would love to add support; it sounds great. I’ll put this at the top of the list for the next big revision.

    I hear ya! Zero ETA right now, sorry. Would need to raise some funds again. Just finished that. Likely, I’ll need to gather info on all the plugins that folks need supported then try to raise funds for those.

    For what it is worth, I’d donate to support a generic plugin for mapping fields from the WordPress usermeta table or for Chad Butler’s WP-Members plugin, specifically, which stores values from a custom registration form in usermeta.

    Starting to spin up another development cycle. Would love to get these plugins supported. Gathering requirements from folks now…

    Another vote to support User Meta/User Meta Pro.

    Can you add a function to sync “User Meta” field data with MailChimp list groups?

    When will you release an update?
