Plugin Automatic Upgrade not working in 2.7

I can’t get the new version of wordpress to update plugins automatically. The download fails every time.

Since that didn’t work, I updated some plugins manually, but it still tells me there’s a new version, even though the version number it suggests upgrading to is the same as the current version number.

I’m guessing there’s a bug or two here that needs to be worked out?
