[Plugin: Awesome Flickr Gallery] Option to remove pagination

  • First of all let me say what a great plugin this is! The best I’ve seen available for Flickr in wordpress.

    I was wondering if you could include in future versions an option for individual galleries to turn off pagination. On my main photos page I’m happy to have the pages of photos to cycle through but on my homepage I just want to show the latest 6 photos with a link to the other page to view the rest.

    Is there any quick way for me to achieve this this using the current version (2.5.0)?

    You can achieve this using Flickr Photoset. Create a new Photoset on your Flickr account with only those 6 photos. Then create a gallery which uses the photoset.

    I could do that but then wouldn’t I would have to manually change the photoset on Flickr every time I updated the photos? I was hoping for a more automatic solution.

    I get the point. What you need is a configuration where you can say use only x number of latest photos, right?

    I’ll add it to my to-do list.

    Just to be annoying can I also request that you add an option to use shadowbox? I can manually edit the code to achieve that but I think with these extra options your plugin will be even better!

    There is already a wordpress plugin for shadowbox. Have you tried it?

    Yes I’m using that on my website. As I understand it I still have to edit your plugin files to load the Flickr photos with Shadowbox rather than Colorbox though. Is that correct or am I missing something simpler?

    Shadowbox does look good actually.

    But I’m not considering it right now as it is a paid library. I’m not generating any revenues with my plugin, so I don’t want to incur any additional expenses.
