Dear Eirig, thanks for your question.

Using this plugin you just don′t need to copy and paste the code into your files, but still need the Google registration to track the ctr, click, view, etc.

    Dear awesomedev_

    thx

Dear Eirig, yes a Google Adsense Registration is needed to get you Adsense ID(Eg. PUB-xxxxxxxxxxxx).

If you already have the ID, just set it in the plugin and track the desired data(ctr, clicks, etc) on the dashboard of Google Adsense.

I’ve included my pub id , but i’m not seeing the data being tracked on the Adsense dashboard. I also had to edit one of your sources files to make the Border work, as you’d set the variable to something different.

Just wanted to add that I think this is a great plugin btw. I’m using it on https://www.ratemybistro.co.uk , and it looks pretty slick ??

If I can’t get a reply to my question soon I’ll have to use a different plugin. Any chance of getting an answer ? :p

Dear supportblog, the Google Adsense Dashboard have a delay. May now you can see your data there.

I removed the plugin and added the code manually. It’s working properly now and I doubt it had anything to do with the Adsense Dashboard. Not sure what could have been causing it, maybe a plugin conflict .. Either way, I’ve got adsense working now and I wish you luck with future updates on your plugin ??

    hi awesomedev_
very helpful pluging! thanks a lot. but, where do I find the ads that are generated by your plugin in the google adsense dashboard? I have other google ads on my site that I included with a code and not with your plugin; those I see on “myads / ad units”, but not the ones that are included via your plugin. any help would be highly appreciated.
    best,
    tim

Dear Tim, you’ll need to setup a new Custom Channel (not Ad Unit) and register the code it in the plugin.

To track ads with this plugin you need to do the following:
    Log in to Google Adsense
    Click the ‘My Ads’ tab
    Under content click URL Channels
    Click the +New URL Channel

Add details of your site and you should start seeing data come in.

Obviously you need to have added your publisher ID into the plugin first.

I haven’t fully tested the functionality and amount of data that can be received using this method, but seems to work ok so far.

    Tom
