    Hi Steve,

The website seems to be giving errors in “peKenburnsSlider”, which prevents other Javascript (including Background Manager) from running.

Thanks for the quick response Myatu.

Sadly thats not the solution, i had disabled all the plugins before and tried one by one.

Ive currently disable the plugin you mentioned, but still no background image.

This all happened after upgrading to WP 3.4, until then everythign was working perfectly, in combination with these other plugins as well.

Any more help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Steve

I had a closer look. It seems you’re using a minifier (bwp-minify) for JS and CSS, and Background Manager is not compatible with it (I’ll add this to the FAQ, as this has come up before).

This is because the minifier loads secondary Javascript before the primary Javascript (on which the secondary scripts rely).

As a side note: it also appears to be interfering with you CSS stylesheets, as the web page is rendered without any styling (just images and plain text).

    Hi Myatu,
Have been doing a lot of checking and the site is almost back to normal, however we can only get the background manager working if we select Normal Size pictures as an optin and they work fine, the moment we choose full screen as the option, nothing appears at all.

If you can take another look as we have a lot less plugins running at the moment compared to normal to try and sort this out.

To be honest Background Manager is more of a priority for me over many other plugins!

Many thanks so far for your pointers of help.

From what I can tell, Background Manager is working, but is unable to determine the size of the background image.

There is a plugin being used, “wp-prettyphoto”, that is loading its own (outdated) version of jQuery.

This might be causing an issue, as Background Manager expects the jQuery library to be the one supplied by WordPress (and I will add a check for this in BGM).
