    Hi,

This should work on an iPhone, but the behavior is slightly different on iPhone/iPad (it cannot fix the background to the same position). The edge may indicate an issue with the HTML elements however, and a quick check with https://validator.w3.org could help pinpoint the issue.

Hi, wondering if the fullscreen on iPhone issue has been solved and what was the workaround. Am facing this issue as well

I’ve used it on 2 sites:

On https://velocitybranding.com/marisa/ it looks ok on the iPhone, though the picture does not fill the screen vertically.

On https://starboardgrill.com/ it doesn’t work well at all. If the phone is held vertically, the bg image fits horizontally but not vertically. If the phone is held horizontally, the bg image doesn’t fit vertically or horizontally.

I checked both with that validator and there were no issues.

    Both work fine on iPad.

    Any suggestions Myatu?

    Hi,

It took some digging, but there appears to be a recurring issue with jQuery, where it does not detect the height of the viewport on iOS devices.

There’s a back-and-forth between “it’s fixed” and “it’s not” in their bug report, so I’ve made some changes in Background Manager based on the suggestions provided there. Hopefully this will be resolved in the current version, 1.1.11.
