When using BackWPup, I have to set the job run time back 7 hours.

    Ex.

    Job run time: 9:06PM US/Eastern
    File name timestamp: 2:06AM US/Eastern

Everything in WordPress and coming from the server tells me that the timezone is set correctly.

Has anyone had this problem before?

    Thanks

I hope that i have fixed it with Version 2.5

    Hi Daniel,
First can I say that I’m really impressed with your BackWPup plugin.

However I think I have a problem similar to nengineer, above.
I’m running the latest version of WP (3.4) and the latest version of BackWPup (2.1.11).

Nightly backups are being produced correctly with no error or delay EXCEPT they appear to be running at 05:30 rather than the time of 02:30 which I’ve scheduled in the ‘Job Schedule’ section of the ‘BackWPup Job Settings’ page for the one, single backup job I’ve created.

I’m transferring the backup file offsite to a dropbox account. The timestamp on the backup file confirms yyyy-mm-dd_05-30-ss and the Dropbox ‘modified’ timestamp for the file also matches this. In the BackWPup interface itself, the job’s log also confirms 05:30 as does the ‘last run’ date etc.
    At least there is consistency.

My website is setup to use the Athens timezone and there appears to be no problem there. I’m running the site on GoDaddy’s European cloud servers (not my choice!).

Can you help? 05:30 isn’t actually a bad time for the backups to run but I would like to have confidence that I can properly schedule backups as I intend to use your plugin (by far the best) for many more sites.

Thanks – and keep up the good work.
