I updated Bad Behavior on my site and it totally disappeared. I went in with Text Wrangler and renamed the bad behavior folder, site reappeared. Went to plugins where there was a message that BB deactivated as some resources missing, deleted it. I’ve fixed my problem (tho without BB anymore).

But it seems like something is wrong with the recent update… just letting you know.

  • I’ve tried renaming the file and I still get the same error message and cannot access my site

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ‘)’ in /home/cam2009/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bad-behavior/bad-behavior/blacklist.inc.php on line 95

Can I delete it from the File Manager?

FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the wp-content/plugins/bad-behavior folder.

    Thank you!

Ditto, same error as all others.

    Plugin Author error

This typo got missed in my pre-update testing. I’ve updated svn with the fix, though it may take a few minutes before WP posts the updated packages.

Had the same thing happen on one of my sites – once I used my FTP client to delete the plugin the site and admin area came back online. Important to note – you might need to clear your cache of the “white screen” has been cached on your desktop

@kletskater post before your is solution

    For all
