    Hello,

    First off, this is without a doubt the best all-round security plugin. I really like it. Thank-you.

    This if the first site I’ve used BuddyPress on.

    I have a very vanilla install, and after installing WP Better Security, I lose the ability to post updates – i.e. “What’s New” type updates.

    I have definitely whittled the problem down to WP Better Security. Also, I have disabled EVERYTHING that WP Better Security does (i.e. everything is un-checked), but simply enabling the plugin will cause the problem described above. If I disable the plugin, everything works fine.

    If you have time, I’d really appreciate some help.

    Hi .. Me again.

    So, I jumped the gun on this one. I hadn’t turned everything off. Better WP Security was still enabling SSL for the Admin area, and this is what was breaking Buddy Press.

    I’m now looking into this a separate issue.
