Hi, thanks to for the plugin. I am trying to hide wp-admin in the url when a user is logged in. I enabled the hide backend tab, changed wp-admin to admin and inserted the .htaccess rules but when I enter mysite.com/admin I end up getting redirected back to mysite.com/wp-admin/?mbojlolrh4 (for example), but the wp-admin still shows, so it doesn’t hide the fact that you are using wordpress once you are logged in, correct?

  • That’s how it should work. We can’t completely remove wp-admin as it’s an actual folder in the WordPress core. The plugin prevents people who aren;t logged in from accessing it directly without the key variable (the gibbarish after the “?” mark) thus keeping a number of automatic bots out of it.
