  • I would like to support pantone on this question. I was just about to post the exact same question and was researching the question when I discovered pantone’s question on page 4. In addition pantone;s as yet unresolved question, would you mind if I added the following related query: does Better WP Security record user names anywhere that is accessible to site owners so that we can keep tabs on user names that appear regularly or frequently and therefore become candidates for banning?

This raises another point where bit51 would like we posters to research our questions before posting to see if our question has already been answered.

While that is a reasonable request when there is only a small number of pages, it is getting unreasonable to have to examine 15 or more pages. And what happens in three months time when the number of pages could well be doubled? There needs to be some restructuring of this Forum for both convenience and ease of finding specific topics.

Perhaps this could be a longer term Forum project, although the longer it is ignored, the harder it will get.

If you’re talking about usernames which hackers try to use to login to your site, BWPS does record them, they’re on your logs.
