• I’m using blip slideshow v. 1.2.6. Until I migrated my WordPress install to a GoDaddy host, I hadn’t been aware there would be a problem; and there now definitely is. The slideshow won’t show at all, but works perfectly on my demo server (which isn’t on my live host, but has the same themes, plugins, and settings). The WordPress config reflects correct directories, and has extremely minimal installed themes or plugins. I would love to have this working, as it’s a great plugin. Thanks.

  • edm00se,

I discussed this with our in-house WordPress expert who explained that this plugin relies on the availability of some information that isn’t provided in Go Daddy’s shared hosting environment. Therefore it won’t work there without a rewrite. To that end, I’m going to attempt to contact the plugin’s author in order to discuss possible changes.

Cool. I would like to keep using this plugin. It’s pretty slick and I like the ability to use an RSS feed for my image sources. I look forward to hearing more about it.
