The website that was loading when you searched for the site was an old version. Our host was able to identify W3 total cache was causing this. I deactivated the plugin and was intending to add again but now I can’t login to the wp-admin. I get W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home1/stdennis/public_html/wp-content/db.php. I don’t know where to go or what to do. I have items I need to update weekly on this site. Please someone help. I am a beginner so please be kind.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @stdennis,

I a sorry about the issues you are having an I am happy to assist you with this.
You need to delete db.php form your wp-content folder on your server.
You should log in to your server via Cpanel or FTP.
    1.Check .htaccess File (make backup)
W3TC will create many directives in the .htaccess file to control caching behavior. Each section will start and end with comments like “#BEGIN W3TC Page Cache core” and “#END W3TC Page Cache core”.
Ensure that no residual entries are leftover in your .htaccess file after deleting the plugin.
    2. Delete wp-content files and folders
    – cache folder
    – w3tc-config folder
    – object-cache.php File (if exists)
    – advanced-cache.php (if exists)
    – dbcache.php/db.php(if exists)
    – upgrade folder
    – wp-content/plugins/ folder delete w3-total-cache (if exists)

    3. Re-install W3 Total Cache.

    i have same problem. (W3TC version 0.10.1 php 7.3, wp 5.2.3)

Hi @stdennis, were you able to restore access to wp-admin using the steps @vmarko outlined?
