• I just upgraded to 1.1 and my post displays the correct number of images, but the wrong ones.
I am using a very simple template with just the title and the content.
I looked at my media library and those 5 images were attached to the page I have the shortcode on.
I deleted some of them (I didn’t need them) and it displayed fewer, but still the ones attached to the page and not the post I wanted to display.

I reverted to version 1.0.9 and it looks correct again.

    Any news on this?
Seems like the loop for attached images is using the page ID instead of the post ID.
The page with the shortcode has attached images that are inserted in the page. The post displayed with the BiB shortcode on that page has attached images and it uses a gallery shortcode in the post.
With version 1.1, I see the page images’ thumbnails in the gallery instead of the post’s images.

Been away for some time recently, so not had a chance to explore this.
    Thanks for the additional info.

I tried version 1.1.1 and it still does the same thing. I had to revert to 1.0.9.

A line added after 1.0.9, line 213, stores the “global” current post ID (each time through the loop?) but it saves the post, not the page, ID.
But this is only used for the excerpt, not the gallery.

Ah, but in function bib_process_moretag(), the data parameter is passed in with the modified gallery shortcode, but it isn’t used because line 597 uses the original instead. I think the bib_check_password_protected function should be called earlier as it is for the excerpt.

    [ Please don’t bump, that’s not permitted here. ]
