[Plugin: Blogger Importer] Can't down load and then does not work

Sorry to mark as “Not working” but
a) I tried installing teh download and it just sat there doing absolutely nothing. Eventially i downloaded teh zip file and installed teh files manually onto the server.

At this point at least the plug in actually appeared in the list.

I activatated it.

2) Then I returned and clicked on import blogger again.

The page immediately comes back, “Done” A hand just sits there and absolutely nothing else happens.

There appears to be no other way to convert from blogger to wordpress so i am getting frustrated and wasting time with what one would expect to be a simple task.

Any ideas?

Am using latest version of wordpress 3.0.1
