[Plugin: Booking Calendar] Mixing language (Danish with English)

    Hello guys! First of all, awesome plugin.

    I have a problem on my site for booking a farmhouse. The thing is. At the linked page (which is in Danish btw) it mixes up Danish and English. The things below are the bugs in question:

    “Available” instead of “Tilg?ngelig”
    “First name” instead of “Fornavn”
    “Last name” instead of “Efternavn”
    + there is a massing parenthesis in “Email (skal udfyldes:”

    How can this be? The English version for booking and the German version for booking work just fine both (changing the whole booking system to the right language).

    Hello,
    Sorry for that. Probably its because in the Danish translation not all the words are translated. Please check how to check it and fix it here.
    Also please note, if you are use the free version, after fixing the language in the translation file, you are need to make the full reinstall of the plugin – its mean that all booking data will be removed (reseted).
    If you want to proceed with that, so please open firstly the General Booking Settings menu page of Booking Calendar admin panel, and at the right side of the page recheck that this option “Delete booking data during uninstall” is turned On (checked), it’s mean that all your booking data during deactivation will be deleted.
    Open the WordPress Plugins menu page and click on “Deactivate” link of Booking Calendar (free version). Wait for the message “Plugin is deactivated successfully”. It’s important.
    Open the WordPress Plugins menu page and click on “Activate” link.
    Wait for the message “Plugin is activated successfully”. It’s important. Otherwise not all DB tables will be created, and you will have an error messages.
    test it now.

    I have followed your instructions very clearly but it keeps showing the bugs as explained in first post.

    The mistakes very obviously in the .po file (could find them all there), however it does not correct it when I upload the new .po file, checks the “delete data” in settings, deactivates the plugin and activate it again.

    Hello,
    did you updated only .po file or both the .mo and .po files ? You are need to update and replace both of those files into the language folder of your installation. After that Please make the full reinstall of the plugin, relative to the above instruction.

    Now I see how it works! Thanks a lot for helping me out, I misunderstood the way that .po and .mo files workes. It all works fine now: https://brusaaudlejning.dk/booking/.
