I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue, and have had no trouble with widgets. Can you provide more details about your environment – plugin version, any other plugins running, etc.?

Also, is there a particular widget that’s giving you trouble?

dynamic widgets cannot detect group’s main page. It also disturbs css in that page!

It looks like the structure of your theme is different enough from the bp-default that you will need to copy the files from the templates folder into your child theme and edit them to match your theme.

If that isn’t possible for you, you can disable hiding the normal group list. Unfortunately, using an alternate template file is the only reliable way that I’ve found to hide the flat group list.

You should copy the tree folder out of the templates folder and put it in with your theme files.

I can’t really give you the steps to change things, because they depend on your theme and how different it is. In a nutshell, what you need to do is make the tree/index.php look like your theme’s groups/index.php file, but without taking out the changes that show the tree, which are pretty much just the name on the tab and the loop template being called.

However i used an alternative method here. I simply removed the sidebar for that page so it doesnt trouble me all ??
