• Hey there,

I just recently set up a new community using GTM for project and task management. The plugin works quite well, thanks a lot for the amount of work that went into it. However, I ran into one persistent and difficult problem:

For new members of groups, “no role” is assigned, also meaning they cannot see the project. This can be seen in the screenshot below.

In the GTM group role settings I assigned a standard role called helper to all new members (see next link). But that setting seems to be ignored entirely for some reason.

As you can see, I am using the default buddypress theme, I already did use the “Import users” button a week ago succesfully, but for users new in groups since it then, it again does not work. Any ideas what to do here or how I can provide more necessary information would be very welcome ??

    Thanks a lot!

Oh, just checked again and assigning moderator role in buddypress does NOT change the GTM role from “No role” to anything else. Had been so sure it had done that before… so right now, I can’t really use the roles since I can’t change them and the default setting is being ignored.

Okay, now I have prove by another user who can’t access a file attached to one project because his role is ‘No Role’. That user just gets a “Page not found” error.

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this?
