• Hi there,

    I am working on a site with multiple blog categories “News”, “Events”, and “Blog” all set up a main post categories (with sub-categories). Is there a way to set the plugin so that “Blog” is not shown when clicking on a category?

    I had thought this could be achieves by delelecting “Place the blog breadcrumb in the trail.” however it is still turning up.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    What code are you using to call the plugin?

    Using the Pagelines Platform theme which has the plugin integrated into it.

    I’ve been running into the same issue after upgrading to the latest version of the plugin.

    @robert,

    Just for clarification, if you modified the settings on the Breadcrumb NavXT settings page, they did save correctly, without any errors or warnings?

    @yousefed,

    There must be something else wrong as I just checked this on my live site and two testbeds. Both work as expected. An upgrade would not cause this behavior.

    I have the same problems as stated above. The ‘blog’ link shows up (on categories) every time in the breadcrumb trail as the 2nd link. This happened after I updated it.

    It doesn’t show up in the trail on actual posts, just on categories.

    There are no errors when I save the NavXT settings.

    I had a message on the settings page when I first looked there after updating, telling me to click the ‘migrate’ button. This didn’t solve the problem or change anything. (probably unrelated)

    @everyone above

    Are you all using static front pages? If so I can reproduce the issue. Thanks Gozza for the additional information, it pointed me to a way to reproduce this. I’ll let you all know when there is a fix available.

    Thanks mtekk, you’re right, the site has a static front page set.

    Cheers.

    Yes, our site uses a static front page. Thanks for looking into this!
