Plugin breaks “Redirect” feature of Elementor forms

    Yesterday, we were hunting down an issue in Elementor forms, together with the Elementor Pro support team. It turns out your plugin breaks the ‘redirect’ action on submit of Elementor Pro forms.

    How to reproduce:
    – Create a form
    – Select ‘redirect’ as ‘action on submit’ and provide valid, absolute URL
    – save and test.

    What happens:
    When you fill out the form and press submit, a browser-generated popup occures, asking ‘do you really want to leave this website’. This happens on any browser. Upon clicking yes, the redirect is performed sucessfully.

    Expected behaviour:
    No popup box of the browser should interrupt the redirect process.

    Workround:
    Disabling “Datalayer for Elementor” ‘fixes’ this improper behaviour.
