Plugin Breaks Sharing Button Counts

Enabling this plugin reset all the counts on my Jetpack Social Media Sharing buttons on all my posts to zero. New posts will now show a share on Twitter, G+ and LinkedIn but not Facebook. Disabling the plugin bumps the counts back up to what they were and Facebook shares are counted again.
Anyway to avoid it not counting shares to both the full URL and the shortlink?
