Plugin breaks site

My site started acting up. Trying to add images to a post but the Media Browser didn’t display any. Then when I needed to log back in, I just got a blank page. Login wasn’t processed. Got remote access to the site and checked my backup. Updraft was showing a “whitespace” error that can cause extra spaces in URLS. They suggested it was likely another plugin. It was this plugin. All functionality was restored when I deactivated this plugin. This occurred after I updated it.
