Plugin breaks template

Just as a sidenote, I have been able to get a Twitter Feed to work with no problems.

I’ve tested the plugin on the TwentyFourteen theme so it may be a problem with the child theme you’re using. Could you go to the plugin’s Settings page, click on the Support tab and copy and paste your System info into your reply? Are you able to you try temporarily deactivating all of your other plugins to see whether it’s a conflict with another plugin which is causing the problem?

Hello John,
Yes I have done this before leaving only the Custom Facebook Feed as an active plugin and still have the same issue. The page begins to load and then takes over 1 minutes to completely load and the footer is gone and the page contact is gone as well.

That’s strange. Are you able to grant me access to log into the site to take a look and see if I can find out what’s causing the problem for you? If so, feel free to send me login information privately via the Contact form on our website.

Thanks for the info Marc. I was able to log in and run some tests. It looks like the issue isn’t specific to our plugin as the problem also occurred with the other Facebook plugins you have installed – Recent Facebook Posts and Feed them social. It seems like the issue may be related to your WordPress install and so my recommendation would be to backup your database and then resintall WordPress to see whether that fixes the issue.

As it’s not specific to our plugin then there’s not much I can do unfortunately.

This was verified to be a ModSecurity Setting on our server. Once that was resolved the plugin is functioning correctly.

I took another look at your site and noticed that the side bar on your home page is overlapping the feed as you have a minimum height set on the sidebar. You can fix this by adding the following to the plugin’s Custom CSS section, which is on the Misc tab on the plugin’s Customize page:

.home #secondary{ min-height: 50px; }
