Plugin breaks the manual ordering on image galleries

If I create an image gallery and rearrange the order manually (using the default WordPress functionality), after I click “update”, the images on the backend will keep the order given by the plugin. The frontend will show the photos on the correct, manually given, order, but the edit page will keep showing them with the order set on the “Sorting order” options. This leads to confusion, since eventually the order that you see on the frontend is different than that of the backend, something that can cause problems if you want to edit it again at a later time.
I believe that the solution here would be for the plugin to respect the manually given order on galleries.
Are there any ideas on how I could deal with the issue?

Thanks for the quick reply. The plugin’s info point to this page (check image) and its name is wp-media-folders, so I don’t think that its the one that you mention. Here is a screenshot of the media manager, if it helps.
No other plugin interfering with the WP media manager is installed on the site and as soon as I deactivate it, the ordering issue is resolved.
