• When the plugin is active, the swatches for the attributes are not displayed as set by the theme (Shoptimizer). Instead, when the plugin is active, the attributes are displayed in a dropdown. When the plugin is deactivated, the swatches reappear. How can I use this awesome plugin with this popular theme?

Shoot. Unfortunately, I can’t code around every plugin and theme, but I do want to give you options.

It looks like you might have made it work on the page you provided a link to. But I’ll need to ensure you don’t have to do workarounds. The easiest and most straightforward approach is to provide you with a setting to just shut off the dropdown override. Perhaps a checkbox; Do Not Overwrite Theme, or something like that.

I’m about ready to roll out a new version that I was holding off until after the holidays. I’ve got a few more days of testing, and this is certainly something I could add. Would that work for you?

If you are at version 4.3 or greater and enable the plugin, you will now see a Do Not Overwrite Theme option when you edit an attribute. In your example above, this would be the Size attribute. Select it, save, and Markup-by-Attribute will no longer overwrite the swatches.

Please let me know if this works for you.
