Plugin breaks Ultimate Member Login

I have tried this plugin and it does exactly what I want it to do, but as it is outdated it broke my login page with Ultimate Member on my website.

Why has this plug in be abandoned? It has not been updated for 3 years and it not compatible with the latest version of WordPress which is why it is causing problems.

Can you suggest another plugin that will do the same thing or at least consider updating the plugin and making it compatible so that it can be used without causing problems?

Please consider doing this!
