Plugin breaks with WP v5.5

    Downloaded free Alchem business WordPress theme that uses this plugin. Breaks with WordPress 5.5. Have to use jQuery Migrate Helper to patch.

    Any planned update for this plugin?

  • Got the same problem with Magee Shortcodes. For example the statistics widget of Jetpacks will no longer be visualized as long as Magee Shortcodes is activated.
    Installing https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper as a workaround it works fine, but with the warning in the backend as described in the post above.
    It looks like Magee Shortcodes relied on the jQuery Migrate Helper library, which was removed in WordPress v5.5.
