Plugin broke upon migration to WP Engine

We recently migrated two sites to WP Engine, both using SEO Ultimate. One migrated without problem. The other has some strange issues. When clicking on Title Tag Rewriter, the fields only stay visible for a 3 seconds before automatically disappearing. You just see the tabs and the Save Changes button.
Clicking on other tabs doesn’t show anything. The tab name will light up but it’s a blank page.
I have never seen this type of behavior in WordPress before.
It also appears that our SEO settings from the previous site are gone.
Everything else in the migration is fine and working. Any ideas?
